Latin gusto in Asia's Latin City

One of my closest friends have celebrated her birthday privately together with her closest-and-bestest friends- us! haha! We planned out and searched for a perfect venue for her most special day.

We wanted a restaurant that we haven't visited yet, so I suggested Don Vicente Restaurante Latino and searched it on Facebook. The celebrator agreed and you guessed it right, we spent it here! :)
The restaurant welcomed us warmly with a neat ambiance.
The tablescape were delicately set.
I had to pose at the wonderfully engineered resto.

This restaurant is dating-friendly I must say. Yep, dinner dates are more romantic in here! Look at this couple, aren't they the sweetest? #kilig
Located at Crispin Atilano St., Tetuan, Zamboanga City, this place exhibits a classic Latin feels, ensemble a combination of Italian, Mexican and Spanish enticing cuisines that suit the Chavacano taste.

The Menu:
Calamares- P160.00
This appetizing Calamares is so crispy on the outside but soft and chewy in the inside, good for 3-4 persons.

Arroz Cubano - P220.00
This famous Spanish rice meal is served with beef strips, olives, tomatoes and vegetables to collaborate with any viand.

Lengua- P250.00

This meal is made of soft beef Lengua (tongue) combined with cream and tomato sauce topped with parmesian cheese is a show-stopper!

Penne ala Puttanesca- P220.00
We must say, we are pasta lovers, so we had to taste this Italian masterpiece.

Pollo Fritos - P240.00

Fried Chicken in Cinnamon dip is a new entry to our taste buds, and we loved it!

Te helado - P45.00
Red iced-tea is sweet coupled with cinnamon flavor that is so refreshing and healthy at the same time.

Oh, and by the way, we got this oh-so-good ice cream cake from Sugar and Ice Cafe. Isn't she pretty? :)
They also accept reservations for private functions, events and catering services. Posing at this fabulous mirror they got, this resto is picturesque, to be honest!

The New Steakhouse in Zamboanga Everybody Will Be Talking About

I live in an urban city located in Mindanao and is popularly known as Zamboanga City . "Mi ciudad de Zamboanga"  is my home since birth, and I grew with the trends and economic improvements of this place but still maintains its local culture and colorful traditions. Today, I decided to blog about this new craze in town. Together with the vast growth of new stores and diners is the Newest Steakhouse that I have discovered. Located at Cabato Road, Brgy. Tetuan, Zamboanga City, PH  is this exquisite restaurant which serves mouth-watering steaks which Zamboangueños  and others will surely love.  The European cuisine appeals to the eclectic Pinoy crowd, which enjoys not only the food but also the elegant and comfortable atmosphere.  Steak and cutlet in particular are common dishes across the Menu. Sausages are amongst the newest hit, along with pasta, salads and desserts. S izzling steaks are their newest c...

To the Westside.

Hi lovies! It's so nice to be back! I missed this a lot, and been wanting to blog so soon, but this girl have been through a lot these past few months.  (I will try to blog about it next time😉)  So just today, My work got me travelling to the west part of the city and had the chance to wander around the area. Limpapa is the farthest barangay in the west side of the city. Most people would take that road to reach Sibuco,Zamboanga del Norte, which is geographically located beside Limpapa.  At present, Limpapa is well known for its marvelous Bridge, where most people took chance to travel and take selfies on it.  What makes this bridge special? 📌 The bright orange iron poles which looks perfect on pictures 📌 The turquoise background of the ocean or the greens of the mountain. 📌 And maybe because, it is one of a kind in the city. Usually, people would just park their vehicles on the bridge, but few would go down to the river, and have a different angle of the bridge ...
